Isn't it a good question - what is important to you, what do you want to achieve in your life?
The answer to this question may seem simple at first - for example, I want to be happy... But what is behind this happiness? It may be more difficult to detect.
The value or assessment of importance during life changes depending on what stage of life you are in - first of all, as a child and young person, it is important to find a place in society, engage in hobbies, finish school, etc. After that comes the fulfillment of one's personal dreams in life - finding one's place, in addition to being a companion, becoming a parent, raising them, etc. Going through one stage, the following topics become more important.
I believe that the most important thing in all this is not to forget yourself - to find time for yourself, for your activities. After that, it is also possible to contribute to all other topics, and certainly better than in a situation where you give everything while forgetting yourself.
If there is something in life that makes your eyes shine, it helps you to cope even in more difficult situations. As in the book "Big Panda and Tiny Dragon" (James Norbury - Big Panda and Tiny Dragon) there is a drawing of a dragon and a panda and it is raining and stormy:
Little Dragon: "I feel a bit like the stormy weather today."
Big panda: "If you listen, you will hear the raindrops landing on the rocks. It is possible to find a small moment of peace, even in the storm."
How do you get to what is important to you if you don't know right away? It is good to take a white paper and start with three questions and find as many answers as possible:
- What makes me happy?
- Who/where do I want to be in 1 year, 5 years?
- What's the first step that gets me closer to it?
It is important for me to be able to be myself in everything I do. The opportunity to realize yourself professionally - both in your position and as a coach and mentor. To have time (actually means TAKE TIME) for yourself, your loved ones and friends.
So shall we begin? What is important to you and who do you want to be in a few years?
